Information you give us
If you fill in the enquiry form or phone us, we record the details you provide. That usually means your name, contact number, email, suburb, the type of building and a description of the room you want renovated. Phone calls may be logged, and in some cases recorded, so enquiries can be routed and followed up.
At or after a measure you may also share photographs, drawings, strata by-laws, meeting minutes or test reports. We only use those for the enquiry they relate to.
Please do not send us bank details, identity documents or card numbers through this website. We will never ask for them here.
How we use it
Your information is used to respond to your enquiry, arrange a measure, prepare a drawing and quote, and keep in touch about that job. We do not use it to build marketing lists for unrelated businesses.
Who receives it
This website is a referral service. When you enquire, your details are passed to the licensed builder we work in partnership with, so they can contact you, visit, quote and, if you go ahead, carry out the work. Once they receive your information, they manage it under their own privacy practices.
Depending on the job, relevant details may also be shared with:
- a licensed asbestos assessor or removalist, where testing or removal is required
- your strata manager or owners corporation, where you ask us to help with an approval pack
- a regulator or authority, where the law requires it
Service providers
We rely on outside providers to host this website, manage enquiries and handle calls, including a customer relationship management system and a telephone service. They process information for us and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
We do not sell personal information.
Storage and retention
Enquiry records are held securely for as long as they are needed to deal with your enquiry and meet any legal record-keeping requirements. After that they are deleted or de-identified. Records connected to hazardous materials may need to be kept for longer where the law says so.
Cookies and analytics
This site may use cookies or similar tools to understand how visitors use it. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and the site will continue to work.
Your choices
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by calling 02 5121 7922. If you are not satisfied with how a privacy concern is handled, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
We may update this policy over time. The version published here is the one that applies.
